UK Metal pressed plates are 100% legal, there is no need to blag anything and the police can't do a thing to you for having them.

Avengedslayer, your car is DG like mine, so the blue side wouldn't look right, however on a blue car, or even a white car, it would look okay, but without FTW with DG :)

to be honest its the difference between getting pulled and not.

if you dont mind and can blag it, get without. if you cant be bothered with the hassle get with

Not sure why you say that, as long as they are uk type face you should be ok, german type face will get you pulled or fined 100% however.

There will be a stamp on the plate.

Can anyone find a link or know where it says somewhere either from the DVLA or the Police that states these plates are legal? Guy at work says they are illegal because they dont have a reflective surface and I cant find anything to shut him up.

All legal numberplates in the uk have to have a "BS" number on the front.

Tell him to take a photo of your car with a camera that has a flash, watch it reflect lol!

O right :embarassed:

I've seen a few VW's about with a DG sticker with a little star between D and G, haven't got a clue what it stands for??
