car-finance seem to have reduced their prices.  when i was looking, they were asking for 22,104 basic list for a 5dr man.  that's come down to 20,767 now.  the finance package is better than VWs, though i'm on a 3yr PCP which means just north of 400 quid pm.

i reckon its worth trying deal drivers for a quote.  i used them and all that happens is that you get put through to the fleet dept in a VW dealership near you.  you deal with deal drivers remotely, you pay them no money, they give your details to a VW dealer and from there on in you just deal with the dealer just like you were buying from them in the first place.

Thanks for that info and website, very informative.  they couldn't beat what vw finance are offering me but none the less was very good to see.  Cheers.

WOuld you mind sharing what VW are offering you? Its really handy when talking to the dealer to have some ideas of what the best deals are...

thanks,

R

my car is 27k, with £2500 down as deposit.  its a pcp so residual balloon payment at end of 4 years is £9,200 (i think!), and it works out £440 a month.  i don't know what the apr is but i think its 9 or 10%.  sorry i can't be more specific but it was 4th may i ordered and still no car grrrr!!  that website quoted £450 a month so slightly more expensive for the same package.
