abs, airbags etc

after reading about how the abs light should light up on ignition i got worried when i checked mine and it didnt.

popped out the cover bit to find this

not the greatest thing to find is it. airbag im not worried about as im getting a new steering wheel soon but can anyone tell me what the other wires do please ?



heres how the dash looks on the first turn of the key just for reference.

If you get hold of a wiring diagram all you need to do is match up as per the numbers on the plug.

I would think it has a fault.

i had a look and the abs still seems to be plugged in but its the

"15g, 15, EBV and 31" (as shown in the pic) that i have no idea what they are referencing to

If they have been cut, the wires should still be in the dash, so just match the colours back up surely?!

indeed but i was more worried about what they were and why they may of been cut...

Yes my abs bulb had been removed before I bought my car to hide the fact that three sensors had gone. Had to buy a light unit as  well as the sensors.

i take it these would be picked up with a diagnostics thing (sorry for the lack of technical terms)
