I would go for 15mm, should be fine or be brave and run 20mm on the back.

Thing is with stretched tyres on such a small rim, run 20's, and if it rubs, its only going to be a small coilover adustment.

But you could get your arches rolled by "arch enemy". They come to you. Friend had it done on his mk2, top job!

They can still be rolled all they do is trim the plastic back, make sure if you do it you give it a good coat of waxoil after.

I have no idea tbh mate, but I was going to run 20mm spacers if I kept the VR6 alloys on :) maybe 15mm with no arch work pre-done and stretched tyres? :)

yeah et23 with strecthed tyres doesnt sound too bad

Ah yer.. my merc wheels had a final offset of 21 so should be sweet mate :)

just wondering whats the point of tyre stretching? why not fit the proper tyre for the rim that you are using... plus you will be getting more surface area on the road so a little better grip. Only thing I can think of is to stop the tyre wall rolling in corners but still...

Ryan :D

god im so tured of hearing this argument.

2 things, stretch tyres allow bigger wheels on cars (because the tyre doesnt sit on the arch)

and numbro 2, think about it a stretched side wall will move a lot less then a standard one so belive it or not but a stretched 165 will grip better round sharp corners in the dry then a 185.

as for rolling radius check this out http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
