bloody hell, cheap insurance, git, lol
mine for some reason is 900 with the gf (im 21 and she is 25)
one to try is the hard plastic pipe that runs accross the top of your rocker cover from the isv to the plastic air inlet.
that came off, or worked loose and i broke down, completely wouldnt run, that got shoved hard back in, and its rum alot better since!!
worth a go m8!!
ps - has your air flow meter been tampered with like mine!?
mine has some white silicone around the joints, maybe a clue if its the same on yours?!

Insurance over here can be well cheap if your lucky :P

I got insured on a 3k VTR for £400 fully comp :) Don't worry that thing went along long long time ago, was just "A Run Around" till my Golf was fixed (Gear box swap)

But more onto the subject, i'll have a look at the hoses. i do know i got a split one, so i'll get that replaced and see if it's put sh!t on any of the sensors.

Cheers for the help guys i'll keep you posted if i find the cure :)

lol, just something i remembered when i was an apprentice at work, I work in a plastics industry, and work on machinery all the time.

The guys like winding new apprentices up telling them to do stupid things...

i.e. Change the waffle valve (No such thing), Go get me a left handed spanner etc.. etc.. lol
