best colour or worse colour that the mk3 gti came in?

Absolutely HATE the colour of my car as virtually every other F***ing car on the road happens to be silver. Plus you can't see your face in it properly when polished.

I much prefer blue / black/ red / purple

I alwayscwanted a black mk3. But wanted a good un so got mine as I couldn't turn it down. Have grown to love it over black.

Point is, you will grow to like it. Even though its not the first choice. Good detail will make it awesome. Any colour that is maintained is nice I think

and who cares who thinks your car look like a grandad car?? no need to take abuse from people like that, its what you like that matters...if you like the colour, then you like the colour, end of!

I always thought black was the colour....but with the weather we seem to have most of summer keeping my old black clean and shiney was a nightmare!! Next will be silver (the passat hasn't had a wash in a month and still looks cleaner than the golf did the day after a full clean up!)

and i believe your car is LC4P Purpurviolett pearl (a rare colour mainly used for the highline)

From memory I believe straight or flat black is rarish, I had one and I know when I was trying to find bodyparts I struggled as everything I found was met black.

lol i know what you mean dude with silver it always looks clean even after a long drive on a wet day lol my vtr always look'd spotless compared to me golf even after washing the golf and the vtr been un washed for about two weeks lol

it could be that colour mate closest gues yet i recon but bet it still aint that colour lol cuz still very slight different mine is very brown looking.

Hey guys was wondering if anyone knew the proper name of the white ones?

i have a white one but it has scratches and scuffs (before i bought it) and i can't seem to find the right white to colour over it!!

any help would be great....its like an off set white...
