I had this problem and it turned out to be the heat plate above the exhaust. So although the exhaust is secure, the heat plate was wobbling about on top. cost about £3 for screws, washers and nuts

under your car  :grin:  :grin:

theres heat shields above parts of the exhaust. they do come loose over time and cause rattly noises etc....

i know this cos mines doing it lol
