Hi
I've just bought a 1992 Mk3 Golf GL
I want to replace the radio with this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130318417919&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&salenotsupported#ebayphotohosting
How easy will this be?

it will be really easy just a case of a swap out old for new. but can i ask why that head unit ? looks cheep and nasty tbh. in my experience cheap and nasty is a little bit of false economy. it wont last long and you`ll end up spending just as much as you would buying a entry level brand name head unit. have a look in halfords in there bargain bucket so to speak i got mine from there a kenwood ipod compatable through a usb connection all for about 60 quid. or you can search the interweb. there are a few references on here about car audio dealers on the web

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
The whole car is on a shoe-string budget; it's only a £700 banger so don't want to invest much into it at all. Just want to be able to play my MP3's, that's it! lol

Are you playing them from an Ipod and want direct connection or another mp3 player with a jack input?
