Well I do like ink blue, silver metalic and pearl black cos I have had them all in Passats. Weird that the range span is so large though. Yellow is for anyone who is gay but can only say it with a car!

Well, as I said before, the colours available in Britain are to me pretty uninspiring.  Nine options, of which six (75%) are monochrome.  One white, two black and three grey.  Nothing wrong with any of them, and obviously the white is popular, but to have three quarters of the entire range monochrome shades is very limiting.

Tornado red.  Nice colour.  Just not me, and also doesn't allow the red trim to show up.

And two very very dark metallic blues.

Why not a better range?  A lighter blue instead of one of the dark ones?  A gold or champagne would have been nice, but there isn't even one in the extended range.

In spite of one of the reviews going on about how much of the design is a woman's touch, I don't think they picked the colours imagining that they were going to attract many lady buyers.

Oh well, it's disappointing, but as they say, a good horse is never a bad colour.

1, 20 and 23 for me. That yellow is lovely! I've always been a fan of candy white.. but no. 20 that shade of blue is delicious!

I wish they actually did this many shades in the UK :( I'd LOVE to see a purple mk6 gti on the roads! :D

sorry but some colours just don't suit the car...some colours look luxurious on the mk3 but then on the mk4 and mk5 would like a grandad mobile...thinking of the mulberry jobbie...and i think the same goes for the mk6...although the georgia blue aint bad

Soooo much choice there, but went for 14, that is very nice, cola Red, i love red and the carbon grey, looks sweet aswell.

I think its a bleesing in disguise that it doesnt come in all those colours. Just take the Tango FocusST, and Snotball RS as an example... there is always a few crackpots that let the team down.

Overall I just dont think VW trusted us to not go crazy! :laugh:
