mmmm, big wheels . Loading the car up with 300kg of cement only lowers the back - tried that Another mod I have discovered whilst browsing a German forum is to replace your tailgate gas dampers with ones from a Skoda: Gasdruckdämpfer p/n: 6YO 827 550 C They are identical in shape/size/fittings to the Golf but have a slightly higher preload and will push the tailgate open when you pop it with the remote. Handy if you're at Tescos, parked far away from the door (thanks to the mums/kids/differently-abled), your hands are full of shopping and it's pouring with rain.
Just read a reply on another forum that says UK dealers have a bulletin to say there is some minor changes from build week 46.
" have seem a bulletin this week about build week 46 cars onwards will have "Cherry Red Taillights", however there is no picture so what that means I don't know!!There are a couple of other changes as well, very little though tbh"
