Aerial
« on: 16 July 2009, 14:25 »
Is the aerial on my 1996 GL electric or not?  By that I mean should it go up and down when the radio is powered on and off?

Mine is stuck solid half way up and I'm keen to sort it before someone snaps it off.

If its not electric, how hard would it be to fit an electric one?

If it is not electric then it is easy to fit an electric one if needed.

I don't know if mine is electric, I've had to put it up and down myself since I bought the car, it's all the way down now and I use a windscreen mounted aerial that Wayne had on his. Mind you, I get sh!t signal where I am and I don't listen to the radio haha!

I found the windscreen aerial great to be honest, strange it is not so good on yours.
