Guys, an easy one - I'm selling these on ebay but I'm wondering what they are exactly... I think they're calipers - can someone confirm for me.

Thats expensive I thought, i have been to scrappys before and got full front caliper set for 30quid on a previous car, but same thing.
And thats up north tho.... but yeah they can be greedy like.

Give them a good brush with some metal cleaner and brass brush, I did, they come out mint. time consuming tho...

You were robbed at £70 unless they are the 312mm mk4 caliper carrier brackets.

Anyway buy some large bottles of Tescos or similar own brand vinegar (very cheap) and get a suitable size container. Cover the brackets in the vinegar and leave to soak for a few days. All the rust and sh!t should just fall off with a bit of brushing. If not leave to soak for another few days.
