centre console/vdo gauges, electric window switch blanks ... how much?

i need a new centre console for the electric windows i bought ... been offered one but it also has genuine vdo gauge fitted and also has the oil pressure sender and most of the loom. he wants me to make him an offer ... how much do u suggest i offer him? a mars bar and £10?

Ive sold a couple of gauges minus senders for £30-£35 each so plus a console which Id imagime the round figure of £10 would come in.

Offer him £25 and see where it goes I would mate, its in your favour if the value to the seller is unknown

In fairness Id say £100 is a lot, you could buy a centre console for £15 posted or get one from the auto jumble at a show then mount the gauges which if you buy them as I usually sell them on in the cage from the Audi coupe's they will fit at in the bottom tray part flush with the surround

He's dreaming imo. You can make one yourself, OK it won't be OEM but it'll be a hell of a lot cheaper.

and why the heck would someone want 2 battery VDO's

Adam, do you get the VDO cage's from the scrappy near you?

I'll need one for EGT, Boost and oil pressure and it would be great to have them down there and looks like it belongs there.

well in that case from what Ive heard of the rarity of votex consoles its going to be worth it haha, I didnt even know what one looked like!

but on the other hand there is a cheaper option!

thing is i dont want the gauges... just the electric window switch surround but i dont wanna pay 100 for it .. might give it a miss then

by looking at the pic i think its genuine. IIRC the cheaper copies have more rounded edges 

Ive got a 16v centre console if you want it for free (collection only sadly) Has a mk3 heated seat switch neatly fitted. thats all.

You will pick up a console easy mate like I said for £15 posted, some people will pay you to take them away!

I have 2 clogging up my garage at the moment but 1's a non elec window and the others a caddy one!

Have you looked on ebay? cheap as chips
