Dont think it's LC3U -

LC3U is gorgeous

i still rekon it could be LC3U as it has the same drastic colour change as louis's

I'm with shep on this one! That corrado look the same with the light shining on it and the shadier parts are a different colour!

If you pop along to a bodyshop and ask nicely they have paint chips see if they can match it then you will have a paint code and name.

This makes me laugh to be honest..

Mulberry Pearl (LC4P) only came on the VR6 Highline.

So Louis' GTI is definately not Mulberry UNLESS it's been resprayed - But my Highline definately doesn't look Burgandy when the sun goes in!

That LC3U colour above, is called Blackberry Pearl and is only found on Corrados normally.

Although both colours are similar, they are slightly different.. because it used to confuse me too.

If the Jetta that Adam posted up is truly LC3U, then I reckon it's a really dark shade because it's A; Recently been resprayed and hasn't had time to fade, or, B; Has been mixed darker than the original for a one off colour
Gone but not forgotten;

The wheels are off a VR6 or Colour Concept, could be an indication.

I think some GTI's just came with those wheels so that VW could get shot of them lol..

You can always tell a genuine Mulberry because they don't have arches or skirts.. and they also have a colour coded rear spoiler.

I think Colour Concepts only come in Black, Red, Green, Yellow and Blue.

I've seen several GTI's in this colour.. although I've never seen them in sunlight so never noticed the purpley colour in them
