AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

You will be when you have to claim and your insurance is void! Ring them and tell them as technicaly your not insured as your not insuring the right model of car...

Oh and be prepared for a price hike in your premium (group 10 to 14)!!

No ..... It's YOUR problem. Get you insurance sorted and then get a remap. (And remember to tell your insurance about that too!)

That's about as good as having no insurance at all. It's not your own driving you need to worry about, its all the other twits on the road that don't pay attention.

lol I love naivety :D

It wont be their problem when you write your car off and they see on their records that your car is a group 10 1.8 N/A, send an assessor to look at your car and then points out that in fact your car is a group 14 1.8T. That sir will be your problem as your left with a smashed up hunk of junk and no payout.

i would tell the insurance its a turbo but i wouldnt declare the remap (im not with mine)

And just a reminder of what others can do to your car, here is a pic of my brothers pride and joy after someone aquaplained into him and his wife whilst stationary waiting to turn right... They walked out of it luckily.
