so your insurance company has classed it as the 125bhp version??  :undecided:

this happens from time to time - i remember after i viewed the car i started getting quotes and they listed it as a 115 not a 130

i'd be inclined to tell them the error of their ways as you know when the time comes (well hopefully not) that they will try every which way to get out of paying

I agree, you would benifit from low payments but in the event of someone claiming on you, your car would then be under a fine tooth comb and as soon as they see its a turbo you'd be screwed!.

Don't suppose you're with Norwich Union? My mate insured his civic vti with them using the reg and when the docs came back they classed it as a civic shuttle. No matter how many times he told them it was wrong, they weren't having any of it. In the end he gave up and just left it.

Just another thing to add to the list of strange things insurance companies do!

How did they come to the conclusion that its a 125bhp model? Via your reg or by you entering it in?
