Cheers all, overall very happy with it, bit of a shame I have to pay more to sort a few paint defects out but life's a b!tch n all that.

Also really like the exhaust note of the standard pipes!

Whats the remap do to performance, obviously makes it go faster!  but comparing to my mk4, it seems to have a lot of low down torque but missing a bit mid range? I know I have an issue with a breather valve which is causing a lumpy idel so may be down on performance a bit too.. opinions?

91k is alot, think about what it'll be on in 3-5 years time, no one will want it IMO. Also the blue one's seem to go for less than the others for some reason, not my cuppa tea but that's just me. Those 18" monza's aren't original either. Good spec though but for a little more you could get this

Well specc'd 3 door's are hard to find at a good price, took me a while and had to go to Glasgow to get it!!!!!

well done matey...you kept the mk4 or given it the missus?

Either way good choice, shame bout the colour...it'll only go pink
Leather looks in good nick as well with none of the prone bolster wear and reasonably price for the motor i'd say.  Get the skirts done and that and get a new "proper" sig done once all is carried out

Mk4 is for sale mate, had to get the new one before I could sell the old one. It won't go pink  i'll keep on top of polishing it. Interior is literally mint which was why i bought it really, and should have all the skirts, splitter and rear painted by the end of july

Not sure on show's mate, being down in Devon it's a right old trek, whats coming up anyway haven't been keeping an eye out like that? See how it goes!!

Cheers all, Sam

Sam

Even on a healthy engine there is a bit missing from the midrange - I believe its to do with the high pressure fuel pump, it cant quite supply enough fuel at mid range revs but when the revs pick up to about 4.5k it does give an extra kick as the pump can supply what its being asked from about that point onwards
