Hi there looking for o/s door in very good condition colour not important. Also does anyone know if a rear brake disc conversion on a mk1 will improve braking. If so what do i need parts wise. Cheers.

worry about the fronts before the back, rear brakes do hardly anything and drums on a MK1 are more than adequate unless its a proper track monster, but even then debatable.

I have kept my drums and fitted goodridge hoses.
IMO if you take the drum away and fit a disc you take a distinctive part of the MK 1 away and they are worthy and sufficient for the job anyway.
