What kind of delivery times are you being promised in the UK?

I can't believe your getting so twitchy after a week!  if your that worried it'll only make the wait longer, as with Mr GTD i ordered mine october 09 (can't remember the date) but took delivery in April 10 so roughly 6 months.

During my wait I had no car at all cus I got offered a better p/x if I gave my car straight away, so for 4mnths and a bit I had to get lifts

It was a total nightmare, I missed driving so much!!!

6 months for a Skoda Yeti your having a laugh there!!

To be fair when I ordered it they said it would take around 10 months if I wanted the pan roof, they had ordered one as a demo in March '11 and it still hadn't landed.

Tbh I've not called them, they keep sending me email updates to inform me that the build date has been put back and put back and put back 

Good that they keep you informed, I'm hoping it will be here for September as Mrs Doc has taken command of my GTD until it lands.....

When I was ordering my work car last year in April I was told 10 months for an A3 S-line, 7 months for a GTD and 10 weeks for the Leon FR to my spec, hence my choice.

IMO the lead times were ridiculous and I was advised down to the manufacturers servicing the demands of the Chinese market first, LHD Europe next and the UK last, how true this is I have no idea mind.
