they are absolutely crap in all weathers, but make for an intersting drive , no matter the weather , front or rear.

As Oakeydoak has commented, the Goodyear ones will be great, as will Michelin covers of the same ilk.

Toyo T1-Rs are the best of the budget performance tyres and at the money you can't go wrong.  If you want to step up to double the price then you can expect razor-sharp responses.  For £38 per corner on 195/50 R15 Toyos you can afford to do two sets for every one of Michelin or Goodyear.

I've run Uniroyal Rainsport II's for about 2 years now and I've been chuffed to bits. Got them at under £90 fitted, balanced and tracked for all 4.

I've never run good tyres before - so have no comparison. It looks like I'll get about 15k at least out of them.

Gotta say the Michelin I had were superb and I mad more confidence in them than the Toyo CF1's (yes yes CF1's are middle class, not top class budgets). But the Toyo's were still good ! I never landed in any hedges

bloody hell 15K out of a set of tyers  erk   think the most ive ever got was 8 - 9 k and they were nasty hard cheepo things

the corrado's got ceats and marshalls on it at the mo, the sh!ttest tyres ive ever had. Its great fun especially in the rain

You really don't want to buy tyres based on how long they will last

You do, you just have to put them on the back! Never yet had to change a set of rear tyres lol. Colway remoulds used to be a firm fave for the back end.
