RNS510 on ebay

I'm really thinking of buying RNS510 for my Wagen.
Looked on ebay.co.uk, there are a number of them offered. But I am damn scared of being taken for a ride by some smooth operator. I feel ebay is full of fraud. What do you guys think? Anyone bought RNS510 from ebay?

I would trawl through his history and message a few people who have brought similar and get some feedback.  just always use paypal and you will be fine.

I bought my mfd2 from a lithuanian guy by the name of tomstoms_1

No problems, good coms.  It arrived at my door 1 week after payment.

I notice he has a rns510 for 599 buy it now  :shocked:

when pressing a few buttons on the RNS-510 I noticed there was a setting for a DAB antenna reception strength. Does anyone know if you can add a DAB aerial to the RNS-510 and pick up DAB?

Seriously though i'm gonna be after one of these when (or if!) I get my mk5, just do a bit of research on the seller through there feeback and avoid the one's with multiple bad comments!

im looking for 1 of these, ive heard good things about tommy-cupra on vwnavi, i emailed him for a price. his units are brand new so i mite go down that route. some of the rns 510's are going for round the £500-600 mark at the min on ebay, so i mite still av a look there.
