Do u get any problems with water gettin into the filter? thats my main worry, (Mine is a air box mod m8)


Mine runs to the original and slightly modified airbox, jubilee'd onto the old trumpet intake port. I've had no issues with water or crap getting sucked in either. remember the bumper vent has a built in plastic mesh and ducting is running vertically up past the chassis leg before hitting a right angle into the airbox, the chances of anything damaging getting in there are pretty slim to none unless you're driving in through rivers or across the desert!

No water issues, & the ducting was off ebay, the stuff that comes witht he BMC kit is sh!t, same crap you get from halfords - that tinfoil stuff!  :rolleyes:

i know your all fed up with these sort of questions!!
but drilling your air box, and cutting off the 90 degree angle trumpet on your air box to put ducting to
lead to a front vent, can this fail your MOT!?

Anyone got a link or a shop name on eBay for the ducting! The stuff I got is really untidy and I would like to replace it! Cheers
