first time this year i got to spend the day on the car,jacked up on 4 axle stands removed front sub ,washed it and fix the rear broken window mission and a half as no power and has rear electric windows hoping to get some pics on over the weekend .

heres some pics as its now on my drive

its up on 4 axle stands now and was trying the bbs to see how they looked
dent on rear was done when i had it and duck tape is there because it was bare metal.

crap coilovers off ebay gone rotten

striped of tank ,fuel pump, bumper, brake pipes, fuel pipes, exhaust, heat sheilds, gear selector  so under car is bare gona jet wash the under side and prep for spray,satin black and waxoil ever hole i can pump it in too. rear sub has got to be stripped and sent off to be cleaned.hopefully now its on my drive i can do more.lol

well i cleaned up under car, took a few days and sprayed a satin black and in all arches,also had a mk3 rear beam to fit as wider with my mk4 calipers.heres a few pics of floor and wheel arches




then today as waiting for rear beam to come back, stipped out rear seats and parts out of boot. to fit the carpet turrets as had the foam type in/as i think they look a lot better thats the carpet ones,aswell as wiping floor over

done a few hours today taking old dash out as it was damaged and fitting a top tint screen.


i was shocked that there was no rot under screen, fitted new screen and started to take out the 2 alarm systems under dash that did not work.

also removed gear stick lock that had been fitted which had been fitted throw centre consol

been spraying a few more parts up front sub rear springs and brackets for rear axle
coated them in 1 coat etch primer then 2 coats red primer 1 coat of grey primer 2 coats of top coat and 2 coats of clear coat.

bare metal

red primer than battery went on camera so there finished now but will get pics of finished product up soon

will be working a few hours tomorrow on car and spraying up some more parts

rear sub ready for top coat and need to get some rear discs and new brake pipe kit and braided hoses for mk4 calipers


hopefully be on car in next 2 weeks

not much done since last pic as had to move house,and spent all my time doing the house and drive. some pics to come soon as moving it to my new home.

over christmas i have rebuilt my cylinder head,done most the work my self the only work done by some one else was the skim.i have polished and ported the inlet and outlets,fitted new valve guides seated valves with new stem seals and uprated valve springs and fitted kent cam then spayed up with silver engine paint.its now wraped up under the bed like everything else



the last 2 pics are with the paint on.
now i am cleaning the carbs after stripping them

complete before stripping and cleaning



stripped no internals no to clean and spray then rebuild change chokes and jets
this is one of the 2 have the other to do once this is completed
