Mines bores to 1900, lightened/balance all new bearings, lightened flywheel with a paddle clutch, (bit of an animal) ported & polished head with a full race cam and vernier pulley. Once the 45s went on, tock it up to 155bhp.
The best bit was the gearbox rebuild with a diff the equivalent 1100 polo.

Sounds like a right animal in the vid in your sig. I bet it's a bit revvy on the motorway with that diff!

Yer great fun tho, until i paid out for a paddle clutch the gear box was always out having a clutch, don't really use it on the motorway as its a bit load & it tops out just over a ton, @ 96mph in top gear its revving @6000rpm

Mines still got the standard 8v box but it's so loud I'm terrified it's going to explode above about 80! I'm sure once I've got a helmet on and I'm razzing round combe later in the month I'll be winding it right up the rev's in 5th.

Mines a similar spec to yours but without the lightening and balancing. I'm hopefully getting that done over the winter as a mate is setting up an engine building firm and is going to give me mates rates.
