Cubby hole below radio?

Are you sure they can be swapped round ? I thought there was a locator hole (in the dash) and a small knob on the rear of the cubby to support the back ?

I use mine all the time, not only for drinks but i put my sat nav there so that it doesnt leave those ghey marks on the windscreen!

Anyone else use it for this?

I seemed to recall that you need the Polo cubby if you want it mounted underneath the radio, and that the Golf cubby was only suitable for mounting in the missionary position.
