i never had any problems with my 1.8T upto me selling it it was 100% spot on apart from a failed coilpack

This sounds like the "spoke too soon thread" to me.....   Bar a couple of minor things I've since noticed, it's been happy motoring since I picked our 1.8T up!  Awesome motor!

Oh and my RAC cover is up to date before you ask   :rolleyes:
