clonk sound now car feels wierd!

right about a 2 weeks ago i got a light clonk sound from somwhere in the engine bay.. straight after my clutch went very light! since it has been light (which is not normal as it was a bit heavy before the clonk).. the clutch is not slipping or making any noises or anything its juts gone lighter 

also when i put my foot down the car feels slower thorugh the rev range and the accelator pedal feels ruff on full throttle 

iv plugged in my VAG no faults come up or nothing... i recently changed the temp sender and my tempreture gauge has started playing up again drop to 80 then goes back to 90 (middle where it should be) whenever it feels like 

my guess is clutch is going or flywheel is going but im not getting no signs of this from the clutch

anyone got any ideas what the hell it could be!

check the seal on the clutch master cylinder

what about the clutch cable...? could have slipped or something ? just an idea

will that affect the the accelrator pedal tho?

best to get it checked by garage then.. only prob is dont want them tryin to wack me wid something big when it could just be a small problem

has the engine dropped at all?? i.e the engine mounts are still in place ??
