3 vs 5 (door)
« on: 29 May 2009, 21:29 »
Hi guys,

What's your opinions on 3 door vs 5 door Mk4 Golf' ?

I wouldn't have been bothered before I came here, but I love the look of 3 doors, but are they any better or worse?

Perhaps they are more robust?

Cheers

There is no difference in the chassis, they are both as strong as each other

Now I've had a 5 door I wouldn't go back to a 3 door car. I got mine out of family necessity though

I love the look of the 3 door, but the convienince of the 5 door.

The 5 door worked in my favour last weekend as I managed to get a garden table, 8 garden chairs and two freezer boxes full of meat into the back of my car (along with clothes for the weekend etc...)

3dr FTW

**pic whore**

I've no kids so a 5 dr make no sense, if people want to get in the back there go through the passenger side

I like my 5 door, do loads of carp fishing so need the easy access. easier with the babe and reduces the wear with people climbing all over the seats.

I wanted a 3 door, but I ended up with a 5 door.

To be honest I'm glad I got the 5 door as it's well convenient, I play guitar so carry bits and pieces round and it doesn't all fit in the boot. Plus I love my camping trips in the sun and again, access to the back seat is so cool.
