hi i have been offered a set of shocks and springs of a mk3 golf  for my golf when i asked the person what golf they where for he said they fit any is this true i have a mk3 16v i heard that they are diffenrt can somone claie this up for me as i really wanna get them if they fit

best asking in the MK3 section mate - some people dont venture out of their own section  :wink:

All mk3 shocks are the same, springs are different however.
