I like the steering wheel too. But my fave feature at the mo is the way the windscreen washers are hidden in the bonnet, not on display like other cars.

I don't seem to use the arm rest much.

Agree re arm rest..for me,it slides around too much or gets in the way when changing gear.

Hi Stealthwolf...When I say it slides around...I mean it locks in different height positions but will still move backwards or forwards. Not a huge issue as you can comfortably rest on it on a journey..I just find it gets in the way when changing gear.Maybe a boon for those with dsg more than manuals?

Yeah it does slide back too easily, but i've missed having an arm rest in my previous car, so its probably just a novelty for me :D

I love all the lighting on the GTI, love approaching the car at night unlocking, Xenons blink on, the mirror lights show the way, and the interior of the car glows to welcome you in. Its a work of art :)
