looks clean not over keen on all the red wire every where just a quick question shep on top of your rocker cover what is that like cyclinder shaped object cant remember seeing one of those on my 8v mate

only taped up the wires becuase my car is off the road atm iv got some red tubeing to go over the wiers to keep it all tidy should be on in the next few days im also goning to take the engine out so i can give then engine a bloody good clean

Heres mine, not bad for 132,000 miles.



Looks fairly clean, have you painted your engine block, alternator and bracket?

Yeah, just plain silver. Its a bit tidier now as ive polished the inner wings  and blacked everything up.

you wouldve never of thought it was a 2 litre, ive seen 1.4 fill engine bays better than that!! :grin:

Maybe vw was conning every1 an its really a 1.8 8v, well with the power it produces it makes more sense  :kiss: :tongue:
