Rev Counter Not Working

which is the TCI-H unit?

its the 7 pin thingy bolted to the top of the ecu bracket, its under the plastic trim over the scuttle area on the driver side

looks like zis

i've just cut out the mk3 speedo sensor plug and found that one of the cables was wired to a grey/red wire that is on G1 on the fuse box

have a look at the fusebox faq, you should be able to figure out what goes where

i've just had a look and can't find the cable on the list

12- red/blk- ignition coil pin 1 and/or TCI Unit (Digifant control relay)

U1
6 - grn - Dash plug pin 10 (rev counter pin 1)

i mean for the grey/red cable, it's next to the red/black one on the plug

11- wht/blu - vehicle speed sensor pin 2

yes, thats the rev counter wire.

coil -> G1 -> inside fusebox -> U1 -> dash clocks rev counter
