Body panels

Hi all just a quick one.  My mates are currently running a mk1 gti in a saloon car series (cant remember which one), and last week he had a fairly firm confrontation with some armco, (armco 1 golf nil) they are after a source of body panels but finding them hard to find.  Anyone know a good place to get them?  I believe the mk1 is still produced in south america and south africa and wondered if anyone has tried getting them sent over?  thanks for the help shagmeister

Hi i think you will find that the Mk1 in South Africa is only available in 4 door and the wings are different, more like the shape of a Mk11, not 100% on this anyone else no.
Anyway as far as panels go, i saw an advert in my local German and swedish from a guy who was selling new Mk1 panels, from wings to 1/4's i,m sure if you give the branch a ring they will look at there add board and give you the number.
