If I were you I wouldnt let this drop.
I'd meet him after work one day and beat the crap out of him.
Hes about 60 odd... im 29. That would not be cool.
Like I said I felt a bit sorry for him to start with, but considering it would be me shelling out £1200... not too bothered now. He did try to deny it, but once CCTV was mentioned he backed down.
I did offer to show hom the footage but he refused. Quite possibly because it shows him looking at the damage he caused.
