how to sort it?

so about 25 miles to the gallon or thereabouts??  what sort of driving is that??

very very reasonable, hardly rev over 4000 in any gear

what i meant was - town, motorway driving, A Roads, B Roads

Mostly in town, get around 280miles per tank in which 100 miles are on motorway  :shocked:

get the sensor changed ASAP

if your temperature is not reading correctly the ECU will adjust by increasing / decreasing the amount of fuel / air etc etc

new sensor is about £20 from VW  :smiley:
