I took over 300 photos so had to pick a few that summed it up. Liek i said I'll be dong a full write up on the weekend.

Cost wise, the event cost 15 euro's to spectate, bargain really, the crossing was stupidly expensive because of the times we went/came back. Hotel was more than planned but it all books up so early you don't have alot of choice. Through bad timing/driving round Germany etc etc there wasn't much drinking or eating but it was about £200 each, which aint too bad for a weekend away but considering with a cheaper crossing and hotel you could have done it for half that.

Sounds like a perfectly viable weekend , might check next years dates and see if it could be tied into a trip to the ring , proper motorsport inspired holiday

That's much cheaper than I would have thought did you take the passat for diesel sipping goodness?

Yeah it wasn't too bad, the hotel was something like 180 euros with the three of us in a room, crossing was £160 or something then food, diesel and not alot else. The passat is a 1.8t, we took my mates navara which isn't economical really, especially when trying to avergae 100mph on french motorways.

My favorites were the beemers, the Martini Fiat 127 and the 6N2 polo kit car... which were built in Hampshire?! always liked mercato blue polo's but wide arched f**kin quick ones is even better!
