I just cant see where VW are going to get their sales from. That EASY S3 money, and no matter how you put it the S3 is a better car.
Agree, S3 would make more sense for this money, but so would the R32 they have for £19500 unregistered with leather & a few other options. Thats almost £10K less with a bit of a haggle...... 
There will be no discounting off the GTI I have been told....
I've heard this a lot over the years, and still have a chuckle at it.
You tell em you want the car and they dont haggle with you, you turn around and walk away and dont say a word, they will be calling you back before you know it, your just a big £ sign to them. If they don't they are either, a) at their target for the month (which is why its always best to buy a car at the end of every month), b) they think you'll come back, or c) they are cocks.
