8V FTW.

Mines on the backside of 130,000 and it hasnt missed a beat in over 12 months of ownership. I was holding out for a 16v but it never happened.

I havent got any issues with the 8v, been a great car (current stalling and non-starting issues aside)  :grin:

128k in my 8v and still pulling its own weight :laugh:
Only wear and tear bits going wrong, not the engine compenents themselfs.

They will last 200k+ with proper care and loving.

Mine is at 88k no a problem with the engine yet!  :smiley:

I bought mine, not really out of choice, but as it was cheap as chips and my car had died & I was a bit desperate. Although I absolutely love it now. 2.0 8v, 140,000 on it, years ticket, just had belt done. I've got big plans for it. Don't rush into it bud, get exactly what you want.
