I just read this all from start to finish lol and im

1 - confused
2 - thinking original poster is nuts
3 - interested all the same
4 - as mentioned already, I want pics of the engine bay as proof.

The craziest project ever. Even with added insurance costs and the premium for a GTI surely you are still having to spend more to do all this? :huh: :huh: :huh:

ps Fair play to you for what you have done but please dont badge it 1.4GTI, just de-badge it.

I dont think it would and you can clearly see its a 1.4 by the odd mod missed here and there. As others have said, would love to see a picture of the engine bay.

He's probably over the moon about the fact that he's fooled a number of GTI Forum members that his 1.4 is a GTI!
