Maybe they were not trying, I would think a Civic type r and Cilo 172 would be a lot quicker to be honest.

i wud have thought they would be GONE!!

type r's run about 190bhp dont they? clio 172 would be a lot lighter.

get the 1.8t in there fast, then they will be left in your wake!! :D

I was heading to Great Yarmouth last night, slowed down for a roundabout as there was an Audi A4 estate coming round, then I followed him up the dual carriageway doing about 65ish cus there was a Saxo in the outside lane holding us up, the Saxo pulled over, the Audi booted it (black smoke from the exhaust, 1.9 TDI?) so I booted it aswell and I was glued to his rear bumper, he couldn't get away from me

The Saxo driver probably thought WTF is under his bonnet  It's only a 1.6

I'm gonna lock this before people start giving out stories that will bring up many arguments that have happened before (we all know what these are). If you want to share speeding and race stories don't do it here, do it in Off Topic, but be prepared for a backlash of negative attitude from many
