I've reviewed the videos and doing some rough timing my Dad was doing mid 1 minute 40's and I was doing mid 1 minute 30's. The 16v Golf champ cars were lapping last weekend at about 1:22.

So yeah I'm rubbish although having to let faster cars past slows you up a bit. I wish the camera battery hadn't run out as I went out on my own for a couple of sessions at the end of the day and my confidence in the brakes and my lines had grown hugely and I had a couple of clear laps with nothing in front or behind. Would love to know what they were, I reckon mid 1 minute 20's but we'll never know!
