Yeah but it's running a piper 286, bored to a 1.9, flowed head and manifolds and a custom ignition map. The guy I bought it off thinks it's about 130bhp but it feels like way more! You put your foot down in 5th at 40mph and it just hurls itself at the horizon while sounding like concord taking off.

Indeed but the way the engine behaves is so different from my other 3 8v's. It revs quicker and just keeps going all the way to the red line.

i dont think youll get bored of the striped out interior either
buy/use an i-pod for the cummutes if it get tedious

Get a mid 90's fiesta, they cost nothing, cheap to run and insure, dead reliable and it's so ugly you'll not even be able to think of any mods to improve it so no expenditure! Mrs Horney hass just bought one.
