hi guys!

Well after 3 long months of waiting, as the body and fabricator took a while getting round to doing the job i have finally got her back! And i have never been so pleased! Don't get me wrong the car still looks pretty nakered but i can see the potential behind this project now! And I feel more and more confident that it's going to work!

Just a quick run through of what has been done
1. Full structural roll cage
2. Arch work on the car
3. Rear diffuser
4. Rear un-necessary parts removed
5. Rear tyre well removed and replaced with plate
6. Bonnet pins added to carbon bonnet

Tbh i dont know why im posting these photos are they are pretty sh.i.t but i just wanted to share! I am going to take some proper photos with the camera this week.

Next on the list carbon bonnet, all the body work sorted including full respray, suspension, engine conversion then maybe...... just maybe i might be able to get her on a track next year :)

I know some people will hate what im doing with the car as it's not "scene", and some people will dislike some of the ideas! But marmite ideas to me are always the best!

Anyway guys feedback much appreciated! Once again terrible photos but hopefully you can see how good she looks!

Here is also another cheeky pic of the cage!

Not the best pic but gives a good idea!

In contrast to these photos obviously the car is looking less magazine like at the moment but my mate took some pretty cool photos on his new camera equipment over the weekend and i really like the shots!

There is a nice mood to them, car looks pretty evil too! :)

My mate also came round with his 200sx (s14) and wanted to try on one of my rotars.
Quite funny when I saw how much bigger my 10's are than his little 7.5's

Quite a cool one of the wheel too (shame there so dirty lol)

Hi guys

Thanks for the feedback, yeah the new engine set up will be big, not sure what it's going to be yet but got a few options on the table at the moment.

anyway... to last weeks work. As i want this project to take a huge turn and be something completely different that means one thing. The engine needs to go, and so does the nitrous. I love the nitrous system yet if i keep it it will still be known as the mk4 with nos. Yet i want this to be completely different.

I have sold the nitrous system to  a guy on edition and sold the block to sambo (you might know him, he's got a 460bhp Audi A3). Really really nice guy. So last week was the big removal. So are the photos of the work. There was a lot of swearing, arguments, bleeding, brake fluid in our eyes, radiator fluid on our croches.... oh and A LOT of cease bolts and nuts.

Well then! MASSSSSSIIIVVVEE weekend for the golf this week! I have finally saved the funds for the big, this being all the serious arch work and full respray! Inlcuding door sills, engine bay etc!

I will be towing her down on Saturday morning to ex owner of tuk customs Rob Keetley, his work is sh!t hot so can't wait to see the end result! I will give you one big fat clue on colour!

Some may turn there noses up :P

But i think this is going to certainly turn some heads!

Built all the front end back last week after the engine removal, wheels on, everything together, quite weird to see the car together again in one piece.

Built her up ready for the big job ahead. Spray job!!!!

Ok.....

Not posted some pix in a while but definitely wanted to get these on here. I never thought there would be any downsides to running such a wide set up, in my eyes the wider the better (unless were talking about women).
Yet last weekend i came across a big problem because of how wide the golf is! it LITERALLY ONLY JUST fit on the trailer. I have never seen anything so close in my life. We got the winch attached, wound her up, and suddenly i heard my mate shout stop! I thought...... hmmmm maybe the winch isn't on properly..... nope! Jake.... the car wont fit.

WTF????

We winched her up soooo slowly and managed to get her on, with about 22mm either side. Note to self i need to find a super wide trailer next time.

Well then, after the tight ordeal of getting her bloody on the trailer, I hit the motorway for 3 hours with my audi doing about 5mpg, cost me about £200 in fuel! Note to self..... get a diesel if i tow again. Transporters are much cheaper and much better on fuel.

Anyway, dropped her off with Rob Keetley, can't actually wait to get her back! Think she's gonna look pretty crazy.

He is how i left her, had to push her quite a lot as obviously no lump in it. This is the last time i will ever own a silver golf! :(.

Good bye silver, here comes crazy yellow...
