I've done quirte a number of these over 2day weekends now. It really is quite easy once you've sussed it.

you can do it with box in but I'd imagine it is a bit of a ball ache, specially since box removal just means shafts off, 1 bolt to mount and a couple cables/plugs to be removed.  Also you prob would want a better ratio box to fit anyway

Its much easier using the original MK2 box but if you've got the patience then I'd defo go with the MK3 one. Although I'm now looking into whether I can get a 6spd box from the Ibiza/Leon to fit up to it 

No mate, it stays as a MK2, just increased Engine capacity from 1.8 to 2.0 16V

did try to google it and search on here best i got is: new dizzie, loom, fuel pump,fuel rail,fuel lines, inlet manifold and any thing else?!
