if i remove the rocker cover am i going to
have
to buy a new gasket before i put it back? or will i get away with reusing it this once.

its always best to buy a new one. Chances are if you reuse it it will leak.

new gasket is cheap. Not sure exactly how much but its under a tenner.

Might be worth buying a genuine gasket, I have heard that the cheaper ones can leak.
