Thanks  ;D

To answer a few questions:

The bonnit vents where a mistake, Just somthing i did a long time ago that i regret. However im going to build a new bonnit when i have the cash with a small Y shaped Vent in the center leading to a set of webber carbs or a K&N replacement Carb (CL)

Motor swap wise, Yes im still looking into it, I might get a TT motor, But im thinking about saving for a year and getting a R32 ;)

And the rear break conversion, Ive looked into it, Designa Dubs wanted ?500, f**k that, My local macanic sayed if i can source the breaks, lines and rear GTI axl outta a scrappy he will do it cheaper.

Pay day is on the 13th, And that month shall see the addition of bodycoloured arches, a good wash and probally a rear splitter. The month after that shall possibly see a respray and window tints. Also i want to shave off the rear door handles and  get rid of the bloody OZ sticker outta the front window.  8)

Nope, Basically i plan to swap out the suspention for a set of adjustable coilovers, The breaks for somthing like a big break kit, And a R32 or TT motor. So i wont need anything from a GTI by the time im done with it  ;)

well to be one of the fastest mk2's your gonna have to do some real serious work.

to be one of the fastest you would need like a sub 5 second 0-60 golf.

i would def get rid of the vents, hint of eau de chav mate ;)

Vents are going very soon ;)

As for Sub 5 second 0-60, I was toying with the idea of syncronising it into a 4WD, Putting some uber phat tires on it, Adding a R32 motor and launching it from 6,000RPM. Gonne be ?8000 just for the motor swap tho, Ill probally get board and buy a Supra by then lol.
