Parrot Bluetooth....Best place to fit it!?

Has anyone got got their parrot bluetooth placed in this position? and if so does it stop the ash tray/compartment opening fully?

Nice and easy to see who's calling etc without taking your eyes completely off the road for too long.....

Security wise - probably not the best spot, but TBH unless you look closely you cant spot it, due to reflections on the window when its closed. If someone is interested in stealing something, they are gonna come up close and see the parrot kit wherever its installed (unless its hidden in the ash tray compartment).
When the car is parked, and the window is closed, you do need to go up close to actually notice it TBH.

I have mine on the left side of the centre console, but I want it in a place without the wire showing.

No more like parking permits (I hate having them stuck to the windscreen), carpark access and most importantly: a pack of wrigley's extra...ice or whatever the turquoisey coloured pack is.

Was fitted by a local fitter... was quite easy from what I gather. Used to use that bit for loose change but since i had the parrot fitted i havent and tbh it only used to rattle about anyway. Still have plenty of storage anyway and can still fit in a pack of extra anyway

I just dont like after market mods so that seemed like the best place to put it so i dont have to look at it when its not in use.  Also means that everyone in the car doesnt see whos calling you, as you can flick it open and close it quite easily.
