LP7V  =  Atlas Grey !

Sticker looks good to me. Nice and original.

mine is atlas too! even after being told no its pearl :rolleyes:

nice car mate and to be fair its only expensive if you think so, meaning that its what you wanted e.g. low mileage completely original with good coachwork and all this comes at a premium! hope your happy with it :smiley:

Very nice car mate! I love to see clean, original examples like yours! Sometimes these catch my eye way more than a mk2 modded up to the eyeballs  :smiley:

  • Looking for an "Icebreaker"
The car is obviously a minter...But, before I would want to part with any cash, I would insist that the armoured door lock plate were removed for inspection, expect to find damage around the thick end of the door handle, as very often these were fitted, only to cover damage!!
Deadlocks would have to go as well!, theyre only there because an insurance company insisted on them!
If the doors were damaged, under the plates, and you got shot of the deadlocks, to bring it back to O/E spec, then expect to pay around £6/800 to sort out the job properly, also for that kind of money, I would get an independent inspection done, any cost involved, could be covered by re negotiating the price...peace of mind!

Thanks for this tip - I'm guessing these 'armoured plate's aren't standard, and if not how can you tell from the pictures that the car has them fitted?

Thanks for that. All the 16 valvers I have seen have had these plates, so I presumed they were standard - are they not? How easy are they to remove so that I can inspect?

Cheers

Good find although I would not part with that kind of money for one, that's Rallye money!  But as they say, everything is worth what your prepared to pay for. Looks lovely mate.
