Anyone had Sports Air filter problems?

just pulling out the resonater tube on the late 16v or digifant boxes is enough!! l

eaves a big enough hole at the front for more air to get it, and makes a lovely deep burble at low rpms, and screams like a banshee when all 16v's are open!!
