A little help mk4 guys

Hi guys i odered a new front grill for my MK4 it arrived Friday 3rd of april and today i decided to fit it, all was running smoothly and i was happy in the sun pulling and taking apart my grill and i placed the new one into the front and then found out that the bloody old grill didnt have a removable badge section on it, its fixed to the old grill now my new grill is complete apart from the badge i need a badge to fit it, below is the link to the grill i brought

it says i -  need to fit earlier badge VW no 3B0853601FDY available separately

but im having trouble finding it anywhere, please can someone help me to sort the problem or just find out what on earth this badge is or from what model it is thanks WEZ ........

Have you tried you local dealer with that part number.

Im trying the Volksbits this morning to see if they can tell me what it is right away they must know they say they sell it .. and i hope they are good with a price to or ill be going down to vw and audi scrap yard close to me lol and tear it out of a smash  :laugh: ill let you know how it goes too .

here the joke of the matter - i ordered the part i needed just 5 mins ago £11.99 great ! i got a 2000 TDI from germany i need to have a 2001 TDI lol one bloody year and no fuss, why VW bothered to make this tiny change that prob would have gone un-noticed by many but hay i got it sorted in the end will look great  :wink:
